Comic’s appearance is freedom of speech

It should bother citizens that some around us would like to have The Gazette get rid of the “Mallard Fillmore” comic because “they don't like it.” Appearance of this comic is freedom of speech and freedom of the press.

I served in the Army during the Korean War. I took an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States, which protects freedom of speech and freedom of the press for all Americans. While in Korea, I nearly died from wounds in combat for our cherished freedoms.

Why is it that some “thin skinned” Americans want to disregard the Constitution and the freedom of speech and the press which it guarantees? I believe that many Americans would have a different attitude if they served our country rather than serve themselves.
