MARGARET "BETTY" E. STURDY

Margaret "Betty" E. Sturdy, 93, of Tipton, passed away April 20, 2017, at Mercy Hospice Care Unit in Iowa City.
Betty has deeded her body to the University of Iowa Deeded Body program and there are no services planned at this time.
Betty is survived by her children, Nan Sturdy and Robert Kye Sturdy; as well as grandsons, Andrew and Christopher (Haley); and granddaughter, Iris.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Her family would like to thank all personnel at Crestview Specialty Care in West Branch and Mercy Hospice in Iowa City, as well as the many people who comforted her in her final days.
Betty was a wonderful mother and grandmother, a dear friend to many and a leader in her community. She truly lived a life of faith, hope and charity, and will be remembered by the many lives she touched.
