Galligan, Jolene
Jolene Galligan, 51, of Waverly, formerly of St. Lucas, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minn. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at St. Luke's Catholic Church in St. Lucas, with the Rev. Nick March presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church. Schluter-Balik Funeral Home Chekal Chapel in Fort Atkinson is in charge of arrangements.
Jolene's survivors include her husband, Bill Galligan of Waverly; son, Paul Galligan of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Ashley (special friend Robert Beatty and his son, Brayden) of Waverly and Nicole Galligan of Waverly; two brothers, Gary (Janice) Mihm of West Union and Bill (Sandy) Mihm of St. Lucas; two sisters, Deb (Steve) Pesek of New Hampton and Tammy (Al) Thornton of Decorah; mother-in-law, Agnes Galligan of Lawler; sister-in-law, Sue (Jeff) Busta of Calmar; and brothers-in-law, Bob Galligan of Americus, Kan., Patrick (Channon) Galligan of Wausau, Wis., and Jim (Kris) Cayton of Kalona.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marinus (Margaret Mitchell) Mihm; twin sister, Jacque Cayton on Jan. 27, 2007; and father-in-law, Paul Galligan on May 27, 1974.
