Johnson, Gregory W.
Gregory W. Johnson, 66, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at his home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in the Memorial Lawn section.
Gregory Walker Johnson was born Jan. 22, 1947, to Joseph and Doris Blessing Johnson in Madison, Wis. He worked as a cook at Mount Mercy University for 35 years.
Greg enjoyed fishing and photography.
He is survived by his sister, Jan (Ted) Chalgren of Columbia, S.C.; niece, Michala Koch of Washington, D.C.; and nephews, Andrew Koch of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Alexander Chalgren of Columbia, S.C.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
