Billick, Vivian R.
Vivian R. Billick, 86, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, at Mercy Hospice in Iowa City, Iowa. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the West Branch Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established.

Vivian was born Jan. 26, 1926, in West Liberty, Iowa, the daughter of George and Josephine Leff Shipley. She graduated from West Branch High School. Vivian worked as a homemaker while raising her family. She later worked for the National Park Service in West Branch for several years.
She was a member of the Eastern Star, volunteered at Mercy Iowa City, and enjoyed playing cards with her friends.
Vivian is survived by her 11 children, Ralph (Ann) Billick of Tipton, Beverly Meixner of Atalissa, Bruce (Sheila) Billick of Paullina, Ken Billick of Buford, Ga., Grady (Judith) Billick of West Branch, Monica (Rick) Dirr of Tequesta, Fla., Stephen (Bettye) Billick of New Braunfels, Texas, John (Lisa) Billick of Tipton, Twila Barnes of Solon, Tim Billick of Marion, and Frankie Ballew of Knoxville, Tenn.
She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ralph; sisters Betty and Marjorie; and Luke Roehrig, who was like a son to Vivian and her family.
