Culver a 'proven leader in education'

My kids' education is a top priority. That's why I already cast my vote to re-elect Gov. Chet Culver.

Gov. Culver is a proven leader for education. As a former teacher and a parent of two school-age children, he has insight into and a clear understanding of the demands facing teachers and parents in providing the best learning environment for children.

Culver promised to make education a top priority when he took office, and, as governor, he delivered on that promise.

Under his leadership, Iowa has expanded quality early childhood education, improved teacher pay to attract and keep the best teachers, and developed the Iowa Core Curriculum to ensure that Iowa students are equipped with the 21st century learning skills required to be globally competitive.

We need Chet Culver for a second term as governor so he can continue moving Iowa forward on education.
