Republicans playing politics with your safety
The Gazette Opinion Staff

Naturally, the Republicans are doing everything they can to make political gain over the recent terrorist attempt to bring down a U.S. airliner, but let's not forget that they voted against Transportation Security Administration security funding.
In a June 24 House vote, 108 Republicans, along with a dozen Democrats, voted against the 2010 appropriation bill for the Department of Homeland Security, which included funding for explosive detection devices and other aviation security measures.
The party of “no” strikes again, playing politics with our safety.
I doubt that most Americans will ever hear about this because Republicans own most of the media.
