Apr. 30, 2013 11:30 am
A second public hearing to be held tonight by the transparency task force of the state Board of Regents will originate in Iowa City, not in Muscatine as previously planned.
Technical difficulties with the Iowa Communications Network moved the hearing from the Muscatine High School site, officials said.
Instead, the public hearing will originate from the Iowa City Public Library, meeting room D, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This location was previously listed as one of the ICN sites where the event would be available, but now it will be the origination site of the hearing.
The other ICN access sites remain unchanged. They are:
- Mississippi Bend Area Education Agency, Bettendorf
- Burlington High School, Burlington
- Keokuk High School, Keokuk
- Ottumwa High School, Ottumwa
- Williamsburg Junior-Senior High School, Williamsburg
- Sigourney High School, Sigourney
- Van Buren Junior-Senior High School, Keosauqua
