Government not protecting borders

Recently, at the Phoenix Airport, my 92-year-old father, who was traveling in a wheelchair, was stopped by Transportation Security Administration, or TSA, in the security area before we boarded our flight back to Cedar Rapids.
He was made to stand up, take off his belt, empty his pockets and even remove the handkerchief from his sports jacket pocket.
I might add that on his lapel he was wearing his American flag pin and his Purple Heart from World War II.
On Friday, I read that the TSA is letting illegal immigrants who are coming over the border to board commercial domestic flights. All that is required from them is a 'Notice to Appear Form,” which has no photo, no security features and could be made by anyone at home with standard copy paper.
Not only is our government not protecting our border, creating a horrific humanitarian crisis, but also putting the citizens of this country at terrible risk by ignoring security regulations that the rest of us are required to abide by.
The president refused to visit the border despite congressional representatives from both sides of the aisle urging him to do so.
He continues to do what he wants, ignoring our laws and Constitution as it fits his needs and agenda.
Wake up, pay attention and make your voices heard. We are losing our country.
