Owen, Helen M.
Helen M. Owen, 91, of Washington, died March 4, 2010, at Washington County Hospital from a heart attack. A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 7, at 2:30 p.m. at the United Presbyterian Home, 1203 E. Washington St., where the family invites friends to share their memories.
Helen Margaret Owen is survived by her five children, Susan Kirk of Tucson, Ariz., Brian Owen and wife Claire of Chicago, Sally Ouellette of Des Moines, Alice Martin and husband Don of Chicago and Jim Owen and wife Carole of Arlington, Va.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Hawkeye Area Community Action Program in Washington or the Planned Parenthood of Southeast Iowa.
