AP story on Palin shows conservative bias
Gazette Staff/SourceMedia
Jul. 27, 2009 12:01 am
A July 20 Associated Press story about Sarah Palin showed the organization's conservative bias, implying that everyone in Alaska loves her. The first sentence of the AP story told us she was “greeted like a rock star” when she showed up for a bill-signing ceremony. Then I read the caption on the accompanying photo: “Sarah Palin addresses about 100 people who showed up ...” A hundred people is more like the number who would show up for a PTA meeting, not a rock star.
I have noticed AP reporters regularly insert personal biases to slant news stories to favor conservatives and Republicans. Just report the news, please.
