Medical mall complaints are just old-fashioned
The Gazette Opinion Staff

As I took a few minutes out of my busy schedule and watched a little of the noon news the other day, I saw a couple of older gentlemen voicing their opinion on the closing of Second Avenue, the future home of our much-needed medical facility in Cedar Rapids.
Come on, guys. Take a look at our neighbors to the east, west, north and south. With all of their improvements, they didn't make dumb statements like it doesn't take rocket science to know that if you close one street it will put more cars on the other. Duh.
I say to our medical profession, put the needed, new building on stilts and let our (Model T) boys drive under it.
