Kennedy hosting Cougar Invitational

Cedar Rapids Kennedy's homecoming week will end with a big splash.
Kennedy girls swim team hosts the Cougar Invitational on Saturday with the diving competition starting at 9 a.m. and swimming finals schedule for 1 p.m. The meet features eight teams, including four ranked in the top 10 of the Iowa High School Athletic Union's Power Rankings.
Top-ranked Cedar Falls will battle No. 5 Johnston, seventh-rated Linn-Mar and ninth-ranked host Cougars. Decorah, ranked 13th and led by state champion Allison Orvis, will also contend.
