Hawkeyes receive commitment from JUCO all-American

IOWA CITY -- The Iowa Hawkeyes have received an oral commitment from a junior-college point guard.

Kathryn Thomas of Highland (Kan.) Community College committed with the Hawkeyes on Wednesday. She has three years of eligibility remaining.

Thomas was a first-team NJCAA all-American. She is 5-foot-6 and a native of Flint, Mich.
