Circle Computer Resources of Cedar Rapids has acquired Cramer IT, a small business computer networking and high speed Internet service business in Iowa City.
Cramer IT owner Josh Cramer sold the business effective July 1 in order to focus his attention on his web and mobile application development business, Cramer Dev, according to a post on his blog.
"I realized that there were opportunities in both companies that we were not able to fully capture because of my divided interests as CEO," Josh Cramer wrote.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed. Circle Computer Resources said in a news release that its abilities as a managed service provider will allow it to "enhance the already excellent service that Cramer IT has been providing their clients."
Circle Computer Resources also provides industrial grade redundant Internet connections for more than 500 restaurants, including some of the largest chains in the United States, the company said.
