I have been a Coralville resident for about 7 1/2 years. I moved here from the small community of Aplington. While living there, I was involved in public service as a school board member, city council member and mayor for six years. I have admired the progressive approach the mayor and city council have taken Coralville.
Just watching Jim Fausett in his role as mayor, you can sense his love for this community and wanting to do what is in the best interests for its residents by making it the best place to raise a family, do business and by providing a safe environment to enjoy all the amenities the city of Coralville has to offer.
Fausett has given more than 40 years of faithful service to our community and there is no reason to believe that his enthusiasm and his leadership in leading this community in the future will lessen in any way.
