The bad news: None of those tickets you bought for Friday's drawing were big winners. The good news: You have another chance at the Mega Millions jackpot.
The Iowa Lottery officially announced this morning that last night's Mega Millions Jackpot drawing - which had eclipsed $1 billion - was unclaimed.
This means the next drawing, scheduled for Tuesday, would have a jackpot estimated to reach a world-record $1.6 billion.
The lump sum payout would be just shy of $1 billion, coming in at $905 million.
The winning numbers for Friday night's drawing were 15-23-53-65-70 with Mega Ball 7.
The Iowa Lottery reports that the state of Iowa saw more than 78,000 winners during Friday's drawing with prizes ranging from $2 up to $20,000.
The jackpot for Tuesday's drawing could grow even higher if ticket sales increase.
