E. Iowa has source for soy candles

Your Jan. 18 article about the closing of the soy candle factory in New Hampton (“Company to close Soy Basics candle plant in New Hampton”) erroneously stated there would no longer be Iowa-made soy candles available in our area. You overlooked a thriving soy candle shop in Norway, practically in our own backyard.
White Lights is an independent, female owned and operated business that makes and sells a large array of soy candles. The ladies of White Lights make a wonderful product in their lovely little shop just a few minutes drive from town.
The Gazette frequently trumpets local area businesses and encourages its readers to support those businesses. You should not have missed this little gem in Norway.
