If you know our dad, Brad Hart, you know him as a hard worker, skilled leader, and dedicated volunteer. From supporting organizations to promoting Cedar Rapids, his unconditional love for this city has been an integral part of his life for as long as we can remember. He is always trying to subtly convince us to move back; he loves taking visitors on tours of the city, remarking on the quality of life; and he always has an extensive list of cool new places to take us when we visit.
Put simply, our dad's passion in life is serving others and his community. Whether through personal service, leadership, or financial contributions, we can't remember a time when he wasn't actively supporting organizations and programs in an effort to strengthen the community.
He is a true role model for us, instilling in us the importance of gratitude and of giving back as much as possible. He is a loving, supportive dad and a doting grandpa.
We know our dad, Brad Hart, will be a wonderful mayor for Cedar Rapids because he loves the city and lives to serve the community. We encourage our friends and everyone in Cedar Rapids to vote for him on Tuesday.
