Madlock, David D.
David D. Madlock, 59,of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, July 8, 2011. A celebration of life will be held at the home of his daughter in Riverview, Fla. for family and friends on July 24, 2011.
Survivors include his wife, Susan (Miller) Madlock; his children, Myles Madlock of California and Maya (Johnny) Avery of Florida; brothers, Gordon (Jaketta) Madlock, Kenny (Theresa) Madlock and Jayson (Rachel) Madlock; sisters, Judy Bridges, Marcia (Darin Lovelace) Kilpatrick and Monica Nielsen; and grandchildren, Hailee, Sadie and Jacob.
He was preceded in death by his father, Don Madlock; mother, Phyllis Kilpatrick; stepfather, Frank Kilpatrick; and a brother, Ricky.
David was born June 24, 1952. He was the managing partner at Cottonwood Technologies.
David loved spending time with family, especially his beloved grandchildren. In his words,“Grandkids are the best.” He loved his music and playing his guitar.
