Fortman, DeLain E.
DeLain E. Fortman, 72, of Manchester, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manchester. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester, with a 7 p.m. Scripture service. Additional visitation will be one hour before the Mass Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial: St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Greeley.
Survivors include her siblings, Omer (Lois) Fortman, Helen Wulfekuhle, Francis (Mary) Fortman and Lillian (James) Nefzger; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Rachel; a brother, Lillus; a brother-in-law, Floyd Wulfekuhle; and nephew, Terry Dean.
