3 softball regionals moved up

CEDAR RAPIDS - Due to the threat of thunderstorms, three Metro sites have moved their starting times up for their regional softball games Saturday.
The Class 5A regional semifinals between Linn-Mar and Dubuque Senior (at Oak Ridge Middle School) and Cedar Rapids Jefferson and Dubuque Hempstead (at Larry Niemeyer Field) will be played at 5 p.m.
Cedar Rapids Xavier has pushed its 4A game with Clear Creek Amana up to 5 p.m. at Bob Erusha Field.
All other games remain at their normal start time, 7 p.m.
