Teen killed in ATV crash identified
Sixteen-year-old Colton J. Blomme, of rural Brooklyn, has been identified as the teen who died in an ATV rollover Saturday afternoon near Victor.
Funeral services for Blomme will be held Thursday morning at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Victor, according to obituary information supplied Sunday to The Gazette. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred just before 3 p.m. Saturday in the 3800 block of 240th St.
Two girls, both 13 years old, were injured in the crash, according to the Poweshiek County Sheriff's Office. Their names have not been released. The investigation into the crash is continuing.
