Former Cedar Rapids Sonic site may become convenience store
A former Sonic restaurant location in southwest Cedar Rapids may become the future site of a convenience store.
The restaurant equipment at the former Sonic location at 560 33rd Ave. SW was sold in a recent auction and was removed last week. Van Miller of GLD Commercial said an undisclosed buyer has taken an option on the existing building and land for a convenience store.
