Anonymous gift will help Congolese family

We received the following request in the mail after Dave Rasdal's July 25 article (“Family takes shape for Congolese natives in C.R.”): “Can you please pass this anonymous donation on to the Jean Mulilikwa family? After reading the article in the CR Gazette, I want to help in this small way. Thanks.”
We don't know who you are, but want to thank you. When the envelope was given to Jean, he could not speak for a few seconds. It took the generosity of church members, friends, community and beyond to bring his family here. Your generous gift will help the family with their needs. Jean's words as he left were: “Thank you so much!!” It takes a village!
