Waggoner, Mary A.
Mary A. Waggoner, 87, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2010 at Mercy Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at First Christian Church. Pastor Fred Darbonne will officiate, with burial in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include her son, Phil Waggoner, and wife, Donna Rouner, and granddaughter, Emma, of Fort Collins, Colo.; son, Keith Waggoner, of Cedar Rapids; and a sister, Julia Raduechel of Forest City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar; parents; and a son, Dick Waggoner.
Mary Adel Patterson was born May 27, 1922, in Sioux City, to Laurence and Daisy (Rathbun) Patterson. She married Delmar Lee Waggoner on June 16, 1946, in Sioux City. Delmar preceded Mary in death on July 22, 1989.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Waggoner family.
