Stop with all the pictures of needles

When I was 10 years old I had a lifesaving radical mastoidectomy. Following that surgery I had to have a penicillin shot every day for almost a month, and yes they hurt. That was in 1950 and the technology was much different from what it is today.

Nevertheless, I cannot bring myself to watch the endless display of needles going into arms. I don't know this but I suspect that there are many people who share my aversion to needles.

I have had both of my vaccinations and they were virtually painless, which I think needs to be the point made in addressing the vaccine aversion problem.

Stop with all the needle pictures and simply have statements about the insignificant discomfort. I think this will help with the aversion problem and will certainly make my TV watching more enjoyable.
