Wobeter, Edward Francis
Edward Francis Wobeter, 86, of Toledo, died Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at Hallmar, Cedar Rapids. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Tama, with Father Michael Mescher as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Tama. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama, where there will be a Vigil service at 7 p.m.
Survivors include his children, Ron (Debi) Wobeter of Louisa, Va., Rob (Jan) Wobeter of Toledo, Janice (Larry) Paulsen of Cedar Rapids, Denny (Lana) Wobeter of Toledo, and Nancy (Nick) Meier of La Porte City; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, C.J. Wobeter of Toledo; and many nieces and nephews.
