Bring back the death penalty

To the editor:
It is very scary to live in a country where a person will rape and beat to death another person just because he is bored and has nothing else to do ('Victim ‘in the wrong place at the wrong time,' alleged killer says,” Sept. 3).
The victim sounded like a very loving and caring person, something the perpetrator will never be. You can't rehabilitate somebody like him. He is breathing my air. Bring back the death penalty.
