Hageman, Roman
Roman Hageman, 75, of Decorah, died Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, at the St. Benedicts Catholic Church in Decorah (307 West Main St.), with the Rev. Phillip Gibbs presiding. Burial will be in the Freeport Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Schluter-Balik Funeral Home, 604 South Ave., Decorah, where there will be a rosary at 4 p.m. and at the funeral home Thursday morning after 9:30.
Roman is survived by his wife, Sharon of Decorah; three children, Janice (Charles) Berg of Castalia, John (Deana) of Decorah and Julie Hageman (friend Todd Larsen) of Waukon; and a sister, Rita (Joe) Menne of Viroqua, Wis.
