Headington, Clara
Clara Headington, 95, of Mabel, Minn., died Sunday morning, Nov. 10, 2013, at The Meadows in Mabel. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Burr Oak Lutheran Church in Burr Oak, Iowa, with Pastor Matt Larson officiating. Burial will be in Burr Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah and one hour before the service Thursday at the church.
Clara is survived by one son, Merle (Beverly) Headington of Cedar Rapids; five daughters, Lois (Burton) Fruechte and Phyllis (Herbert) Banse of Caledonia, Minn., Janice Numedahl of Decorah, Lila (Dr. John) Cangemi of Jacksonville, Fla. and Joyce (Daniel) Nelson of Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters-in-law, Brenda Headington and Lynn Headington of Decorah; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one brother, Fremont Schuttemeier of Eitzen, Minn.; and two sisters-in-law, Lucy Schmitz of Cashton, Wis. and LaVonne Brandt of Frankville.
