Unruh, Shirley J.
Shirley J. Unruh, 83, a resident of Heritage Nursing and Rehab, Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2010. At her request, there will be no visitation and no services. Inurnment in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy (Dennis) French of Center Point, and Sharon (Bob) Baker of Cedar Rapids; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a long time friend, John Schmoldt.
Shirley was born June 4, 1927, in St. Paul, Minn. She retired from Armstrong's Department Store where she was a waitress.
