‘Photo enforced’ signs are a courtesy

To the editor:
I assume a large number of people only obey laws when the police are in evidence.
If you do not obey speed limit signs, what other laws do you ignore?
In my opinion, the posted 'photo enforced” signs are a courtesy that should not even be necessary.
