Ames' Barnes close to college decision

All-American prep basketball senior Harrison Barnes of Ames will hold a press conference at Ames High School on Nov. 13 to announce his plans for college.
The 6-foot-6 forward has narrowed his choices to Iowa State, North Carolina, Duke, Kansas, UCLA and Oklahoma. He has been considered the top recruit in his class by some.
