He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mike was born Sept. 15, 1947, in Logan, to Ralph and Ellen Schade Trout. He married Nancy Niedert on July 24, 1976, in Sumner. Over the years Mike worked at Century Engineering, Product Design and Fabrication, Ornamental Concrete and Per Mar and at each job displayed great work ethic and pride in a job well done. Most recently through employment at Per Mar he was a contracted courier for AEGON. He always had kind words to say about the people he encountered at AEGON and he took pleasure in seeing their faces each day and performing his job with great care. During his journey with cancer, he faced every treatment and challenge with a can-do positive attitude which was an inspiration to all who met him.
In his retirement countless creations came from his workshop, all made by his hands with love. He donated some to the church and fundraisers and made many toys for his little buddy, William.
