Aldrich, Frances 'Fanny' Leona
Frances “Fanny” Leona Aldrich, 80, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Monday, July 26, 2010, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Ivan Nienhaus. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Donald; sister, Ticky Schlondorf of Cedar Rapids; and four nieces and nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents.
Born May 9, 1929, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Frances was the daughter of Sofus and Hilda (Little) Andersen. Frances worked for Iowa National Insurance Company. On July 2, 1966, she was united in marriage to Donald Alrich in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
A memorial fund has been established.
