Former CR Kennedy assistant wrestling coach suspended after sending text messages to students

A former assistant wrestling coach at Cedar Rapids Kennedy has been suspended from coaching for 10 years after he admitting to sending inappropriate text messages to two female students.
Christopher Sheldon admitted to sending text messages of a sexual nature to two female students in February 2009, according to a stipulation and order by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners. The order was released Wednesday.
Sheldon served as an assistant until Feb. 11, 2009, records show. A complaint was filed with the Board of Educational Examiners, which investigated the matter, about a month later
