Hoopes, Joan
Joan Hoopes, 80, died Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, at Palmer Lutheran Health Center. A family-planned private memorial service will be at a later date. Burial will be in West Union Cemetery. Arrangements are with Burnham-Wood Funeral Home in West Union.
Survivors include a son, Linn (Ruth) Hoopes of Pella; and a daughter, Linda (Don) Raeford of Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Joe” in July 1992.
