Palmer, Marvin
Marvin Palmer, 97, of Dysart, died Sunday, June 23, 2013. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 27, at the United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Dysart Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Overton Funeral Home in Dysart where Masonic rites will be held at 7 p.m.
Survivors include two sons, Dick (Jo) Palmer of Dysart and Dr. Rick (Joan) Palmer of La Porte City; one sister, LaVaun (Earl) Raub of Dysart; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
