The Iowa Photo: Drone debut
My first photo with the Gazette photo staff’s new drone published April 25. It was a photo of an empty lot. It is an empty lot with a lot of news value ... but still a bit anticlimactic. So, I wanted to redeem myself and the drone with a more proper arrival to newsprint. I set off for Lake Macbride State Park once again. As with any trip for a photo at the lake, I was running late having been caught up by desk work but arrived just in time to make this photo, which I’m quite pleased with.
