Letters: Trump’s presidency will bring change

Change is about to happen with Donald Trump becoming president. It might be a good change or it might not be good at all.
The GOP is running the show and now must be for something instead of always voting against Barack Obama every time the last six years. The GOP has forgotten things like national debt or that Russia is an adversary, not an ally. Attempting to fix the election is not a political thing, it is an attack on our democracy.
Iowa's two senators and most of our congressmen are standing with Trump and will be voting to drop Obamacare, and apparently anything Obama accomplished.
I wish the Trump administration well and hope for the best for America, but greatly fear the worst may lie ahead.
