Aalberts, Leon Ann
Leon Ann Aalberts, 70, of Oswego, Ill., died Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, at her home.
Leon was born Feb. 9, 1941, in the family home near Primghar, Iowa, the daughter of the late Harry and Marjorie (Mouw) Reinsma. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Cedar Rapids, where she served as a deacon and elder.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, at the Dunn family Funeral Home with Crematory, 1801 S. Douglas Rd., Oswego. Later in the spring there will be services in Cedar Rapids and in northwest Iowa.
Memorials may be directed to the Youth Ministry at the Oswego Presbyterian Church or the American Brain Tumor Association, 2720 River Rd., Des Plaines, IL 60018.
