Iowa soccer beats UNI in overtime

IOWA CITY – Karly Stuenkel's 94th-minute goal powered the Iowa soccer team to a 2-1, overtime victory over Northern Iowa on Tuesday night.
The Hawkeyes remained undefeated this season (3-0-0) while UNI fell to 2-1-2.
Iowa held a 17-13 shots advantage and took the lead on Bri Toelle's goal in the 27th minute.
It remained 1-0 until the 73rd minute, when Hannah McDevitt netted her first goal of the season for UNI.
Hannah Clark made five saves for the Hawkeyes, Whitney Blunt seven for the Panthers.
Iowa travels to Missoula, Mont., this weekend for games against Utah State on Friday and Montana on Sunday. UNI hosts IUPUI at 1 p.m. Saturday.
