Maxine E. Sturm, 100,
of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. Per Maxine's wishes, private family services will be held. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Maxine is survived by her daughter, Beverly Funk of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren, Conrad of Marion and Katie of Cedar Rapids; and six great-grandchildren, Courtney, Shae, Araya, Alijah, Jossalyn and Aubrielle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Jr.; and daughter, Carol Ann.
Maxine was born July 18, 1915, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Leonard and Helen Westrope Johnson. She married Albert Sturm Jr. on Dec. 19, 1936, in Cedar Rapids. Maxine loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and crocheting.
