Thiese, Margaret Ann
Margaret Ann Thiese, 88, of Charles City, formerly of Elkader, passed away Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at Cedar Health in Charles City. As were her wishes she will be cremated. A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
She is survived by a brother, Norman Thrasher; nieces and nephews; and close friends, Ron and Marilyn Venz and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Burnell Thiese in 2008; Alina Vesely, Iona Shockman, Marion Johnson and Maxine Thrasher.
Margaret Ann Thrasher was born March 14, 1925, to Eluster and Mildred (Buck) Thrasher in rural Hubbard County, Minn. On Jan. 1, 1948, she was united in marriage to Burnell William Thiese in Cedar Falls.
Memorial donations in Margaret's name may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, 711 Second St., Charles City, IA 50616.
