Buresh, Nora 'Marilynn'
Nora “Marilynn” Buresh, of Hiawatha, passed away August 5, 2011, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy following a brief illness. There will be a service to celebrate her life at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. A visitation is planned for Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include daughters Joanna Bellach and Donna Johnson and her husband, Jeff. Also surviving are grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marilynn was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Robert Buresh; daughters, Marcia Lee and Ponitta Ann; and son, Byron Douglas.
Nora “Marilynn” Buresh was born July 27, 1922, in Pierre, S.D., the daughter of William and Isabelle (Arthur) Heubner. Marilynn worked as the deputy clerk for years in the Linn County Courthouse. In her spare time she enjoyed antiquing and redecorating. Most of all, she appreciated spending time with family.
