Betty M. Sedlacek, 88, of rural Iowa City, died Saturday, May 9, 2015, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 14, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Iowa City (Sunday Parking Ordinance will be in effect for streets near the church.). Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Iowa City. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service, where a parish vigil service will begin at 4 p.m.
