SWISHER - A Swisher man was arrested Monday and faces a burglary charge after police say he forced his way into a home on Blain Cemetery Road about 6:45 p.m. Saturday.
According to a Johnson County criminal complaint, William Carson, 31, whose address also is listed on Blain Cemetery Road, nearly pushed a woman down the stairs upon his entry.
Police said Carson then began a shoving and wrestling match with the man in the house who was trying to push Carson out the back door.
Carson cursed at and threatened the two people in the home during the altercation, according to criminal complaint. One of the people in the home suffered a laceration to the arm.
Carson was being held in the Johnson County Jail Tuesday on a $50,000 bond.
