Police have arrested a man for selling heroin to a police informant in 2011.
According to an Iowa City police criminal complaint, on Sept. 14, 2011, officers with the department's street crimes unit used a confidential informant to buy heroin from a man known to the informant as "Lil Buddy." Police said the informant purchased .64 grams of heroin from "Lil Buddy" for $50.
Using photographs, the informant identified "Lil Buddy" as 23-year-old Alfred L. Jackson, no address given. The heroin purchased tested positive for both the presence of heroin and methamphetamine.
Jackson has been arrested and faces one county of possession of heroin with intent to distribute, a class C felony.
