Brilliant plans proposed for razed site

To the editor:
A while back, the Cedar Rapids City Council nixed the plans to replace the site where the Vernon Inn stood with a convenience store because the area was already saturated with two on the road already.
Now, I read that the site is finally being razed to build an auto-parts store right across the street from, you guessed it, an auto-parts store. Brilliant.
